I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which is consistently ranked in the top three programs in the United States. I had the great fortune to complete my field hours at UNC Psychiatry, where I worked with a variety of people experiencing various conditions including but not limited to depression, anxiety, disability, chronic pain, developmental delay, and addiction.
Before I became a psychotherapist, I earned my 4th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and was a Master Instructor specializing in “life transferable skills”. I also earned my first Masters from Florida State University and taught in the public school system.
During my leisure time, I enjoy jiu-jitsu, all types of ballroom dance, and attempting to play the guitar.
